Seminar: also for HOD-coaches
17-3-2008 Important; All coaches and trainers are invited to a seminar planned on Friday 21st 2008, at 1800 hours, at the youth hostel Stay- Okay, near the hockey fields.In this seminar Rob Haantjes, head coach of the premier league club Voordaan and the Dutch Development U16-U18 Team, will energetically impose his daring approach of hockey on you. Attacking your mindset, he won't let go until you're there: Let's Impose!
The seminar will deal with the possibilities of creating new dynamic situations at the sideline of the pitch. Imposing is an aggressive, and risky style of play to move your way into the opponents D. These situations involve elements as 2-1 tactics, the third man, body fakes, back to back running and regaining. It balances the Dutch possession style and turn almost dried up moments into tantalizing spectacles. In the last three years Rob Haantjes promoted twice with two different clubs to the premier league and in 2007, as the former head-coach, got Trinidad & Tobago for the first time in history to an olympic qualifier. http://hod.iet-online.nl/ietseminar.htm.
