International Seminar

As part of the tournament, we would like to present a special 1 hour seminar on Friday the 21th between 18.00-19.00 hours at the youth hostel, located next to the hockey pitches.

In this seminar Rob Haantjes (head coach of premier league club Voordaan and the Dutch Development U16-U18 Team First Men's team) will energetically impose his daring approach of hockey on you. Attacking your mindset, he won't let go until you're there:

The seminar will deal with the possibilities of creating new dynamic situations at the sideline of the pitch. Imposing is an agressive, and risky style of play to move your way into the opponents D. These situations involve elements as 2-1 tactics, the third man, body fakes, back to back runn ing and regaining. It balances the Dutch possesion style and turn almost dried up moments into tantalizing spectacles. In the last three years RH promoted twice with two different clubs to the premier league and in 2007, as the former head-coach, got Trinidad & Tobago for the first time in history to an olympic qualifier.

After this (at 19.30 hours) there will be a demo-match between HOD First Men's team and Oranje Zwart First Men's team.
